Dark purple with red hues
Aromatics : Aromatic nose of concentrated blackcurrant fruit with dark chocolate and violet notes.
Palate : A concentrated wine with layers of dark berry and blackcurrant fruit, mingling with dark chocolate and tobacco leaf notes. Long lingering finish.
Cellaring : Will reward cellaring for 5-7 years or more.
: 2017 was a good vintage for Cabernet in McLaren Vale which produced concentrated fruit with rich textures and flavours. Selected from 2 of our premium vineyards aged 25 years and 50 years.
: Picked in the early hours of the morning, the wine was crushed and then fermented on skins for 10 days. The wine was then aged for 15 months in a combination of new and used French oak barrels, of which 15% were new.
