Chalk Hill Grenache Tempanillo

'A Labrador wine that is desperate to please, wagging its tail furiously, and succeeding handsomely. The sheer purity of the red berry assemblage rests upon the modest alcohol, oak and tannins doing a disappearing trick - they're still there but are hard to detect. Drink to 2025'
2017 - Gold Medal - 2018 San Diego Critics Challenge International Wine and Spirits Competition
2015 - 95 Points - James Halliday, 2017 Australian Wine Companion
2015 - 93 Points: Gary Walsh, Wine Front Monthly
REVIEW: ‘Lovely floral and fresh basil perfume, red liquorice, red fruits, spice, peanut and subtle earthiness. Medium bodied, fine and almost silky feel, red fruits and cherry, again that mouth-perfume of fresh basil, fine-grained tannin, clean and cool lacy acidity, and a fresh long finish of lip smacking length. A beautiful, and harmonious expression of McLaren Vale.'
2015 - 93 Points: Tony Keys, The Key Report
2015 - 4.5 Stars - Tony Love. The Advertiser
