All experiences are held indoors and outdoors, with guided tasting experiences held indoors only for the best experience.

Tasting Experiences
Chalk hill tasting
Explore award-winning wines from Chalk Hill and Small Batch Release range.
$20 Per Person | Maximum 10 Guests | 45 Minutes
Wines in the Chalk Hill range are premium quality that can be enjoyed by themselves or will compliment foods. The Small Batch Release (SBR) wines are our winemaking playground, much like a test-kitchen where we can experiment with smaller ferments and exciting grape varieties.
Premium Alpha Crucis tasting
By Appointment Only
Step into the world of elite winemaking with our Alpha Crucis Tasting, available exclusively by appointment. Alpha Crucis wines are the stars of our vineyards. They reflect a sense of place and our efforts in the vineyard and winery. We only release Alpha Crucis wines in years that satisfy our uncompromising principles of quality and varietal integrity.

Casual Drinks with food
Make a Table Reservation if you are after a casual lunch with a glass of wine. Tables are available for booking in the Alpha Crucis Lounge or on the Deck outside.
Important note: Tasting Experience is not included in a Table Reservation. Please make separate bookings if you are looking to do a tasting and wishing to stay longer with a table.

We open at 12pm on public holidays.
We are closed on Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
Chalk Hill Wines, Cucina di Strada, and Never Never Distilling Co. are separate businesses that operate independently within the Chalk Hill Collective site.
Please head to Chalk Hill Collective or Never Never Distilling Co. to book any gin experience.
You don’t need to book separately for Cucina di Strata.
Yes, Chalk Hill Wines is a cashless venue. We accept all major debit and credit cards.
Unfortunately no, bringing your own food, drinks, decorations, furniture, or playing ball games and footballs is not permitted at Chalk Hill. Thanks for understanding!
Yes, mini vans and buses require management approval. Please advise our Cellar Door Team via email ([email protected]) prior to your arrival and show your approval when you arrive.
The largest group we can accommodate at our Cellar Door is ten on weekends and public holidays.
For weekdays, we are more flexible. Please fill out the Large Group Booking Enquiry Form for arrangements.
Yes, families and dogs are welcome! Please note on bookings if you require a highchair.
Dogs must remain on a leash and be cleaned up after.

As Chalk Hill is an organic vineyard, we ask that you respect our environmentally sustainable practices and refrain from walking in the vines.
However, at our annual Harvest event in March, you can join us walking in the vineyards and hand-picking some grapes! – Stay tuned for Harvest 2025.
Yes, we have function packages available for private and corporate functions.

We will hold your private table15 minutes starting your reservation time. We apologise that we are unable to guarantee your reservation if you arrive more than 15 minutes late.

The $25 table deposit can also be redeemed on beers, cider and soft drinks served by Chalk Hill Cellar Door.
Please make separate bookings for a wine tasting and table reservation, one following the other. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate wine tastings with lunch.
For the best wine pairing experience, we recommend booking your table after the Tasting Experience.
We have limited outdoor tables on the lawn that are seated on a first-come-first-served basis for walk-in guests, weather permitted.
