A warm and elegant gathering of up to 80 guests (50 seated) creates an atmosphere that feels both intimate and festive. Your guest list is thoughtfully curated, ensuring a meaningful experience for everyone present. The size of the Alpha Crucis Lounge allows you and your partner to spend time with each guest, creating space for connection, conversation and laughter. There is room to dance, to toast, to embrace — but never to feel lost in the crowd.

Alpha Crucis Lawn
The Lounge opens onto the adjoining Alpha Crucis lawns, providing a beautifully grassed area for your ceremony overlooking the Chalk Hill vineyards and Sellick Hills. Many couples choose to enjoy a private “first glance” photo session onsite prior to 6pm, then host their ceremony at 6pm when the venue becomes exclusively yours through to midnight.
Prior to 6pm, the space operates as semi-private, with the Cellar Door open to the public. This creates a gentle transition from a relaxed daytime vineyard atmosphere into a fully private evening celebration. Chalk Hill Wines will set up all tables and chairs on your behalf, and access for reception styling is available from 2pm on the day, giving you ample time to personalise the space.

Your Package
Your package includes the Alpha Crucis wooden tables and chairs, 30 white ceremony chairs, a signing table and premium Riedel glassware. Please note that celebrant services, florals, styling décor and coordination of external suppliers are not included, allowing you flexibility to curate your own team and manage your investment thoughtfully.
Beverage Packages
Our beverage packages showcase the best of McLaren Vale. The Chalk Hill Wines package ($90 per person) includes Prosecco, Fiano, Rosé, Tempranillo Grenache, and Syrah. The Alpha Crucis Wines package ($110 per person) includes our flagship Adelaide Hills Chardonnay, Old Vine Grenache and three Single Vineyard Syrah expressions.
BYO spirits are not permitted; however, special reds may be approved in advance.
Catering options
Catering options are designed to suit a range of styles. Our Italian Street food experience with Cucina di Strada ($65 per person, minimum 60 guests) offers arancini, pinsa and pistachio & ricotta cannoli — ideal for relaxed, joyful celebrations. Showcase Cuisine provides a more traditional dining experience, with a feast-style menu at $100 per person or curated menu options at $145 per person. Additional external catering options may be available by prior appointment and can be considered for evening weddings.
